UHM welcomes the opportunity to have prospective families tour our Montessori school and program. We truly enjoy having the opportunity to get to know more about you and your family. We believe "The Tour" is your personal time to learn more about our Montessori philosophy and programs. The tour is also a great opportunity for you to meet our amazing teaching staff, embrace the culture and the positive learning and social atmosphere of our school while asking any personal questions that pertain directly to you and your family.
How to Schedule a Tour
For those families interested in scheduling a tour, you may access our "Tour Calendar" through Ravenna by creating a basic account and profile for you and your child. [Please refer to the
"Application Submission Guide"
for additional instructions on creating an account.]
After creating your account/profile, please choose the appropriate enrollment year in the upper right hand corner of the Dashboard page within Ravenna and then select "Apply to a School" and select University Heights Montessori from the populated list within the San Francisco Bay Area location. You may select to "Explore" or "Apply" to start the application process. From there, please scroll down to where it says "Register For An Event". Our tour calendar with available tour dates will appear within this section.
UHM only offers individual tours as we value the one to one personal interaction and communication with each interested family. We offer individual tours on most weeks starting at 9:15 AM from October - May. It is not required nor mandatory for families to bring their child with them for the tour. Although children are always more than welcome to join their parents as we would love to have the opportunity to meet them as well.
Tour Details
We provide parents with a comprehensive tour which last
approximately 30 minutes. The goal of our tours is to provide parents with an in-depth look into what a typical day would be like for their child at University Heights Montessori. During the tour, parents will have the opportunity to visit our classrooms and see the students interacting within their environment. We will discuss the many different aspects of our Montessori program and how they are beneficial to the educational and social development and growth of your child.
