University Heights Montessori [UHM] has a rolling admissions process and is open to children of all eligible ages. Admissions are based on availability of space and is offered to children who are between the ages of 2 to 6 years by September 1st of the respective school year. Students are accepted for the full academic school year.
In order to achieve balanced classrooms, we take into consider the ratio of boys to girls, ages, and full-time and part-time students. When accepting students, UHM will give first priority to the siblings of our currently enrolled students. Any remaining vacancies will be filled from the pool of applicants on our waitlist.
University Heights Montessori [UHM] does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, color, sexual orientation, age, physical challenge, national origin, gender, disability, or any other characteristic in the administration of its educational programs, admission policies and other school-related administered programs.
UHM will start to notify the families of the students on our waitlist about our acceptance decisions in February and March. All acceptance decisions are published privately through Ravenna to each family. Families can view their child's acceptance decision by signing into their Ravenna account. Acceptance decisions are viewable within the dashboard on the left hand column of the page where it says "Decisions" under your child's name. If your child does not receive admissions, you will have the one-time option to maintain your place on our waitlist by rolling over your child's application to the following school year.
Acceptance decisions are typically released in 3 different stages and usually within one to two weeks of each other. If you do not receive an immediate admissions decision in the initial stage, please do not worry as you will receive a decision in one of the following stages.
For those families who choose to remain on our waitlist: With a rolling admissions process, we will look to fill any vacancies that may come available during our academic school year. When an opening in our Montessori program comes available, a member of our admissions team will contact the next applicant on our waitlist and notify them of their child’s acceptance into our program.
UHM would love to accept every student who applies to our Montessori school and program; however we are limited by the number of spaces we have available each year. If we are unable to offer admissions to your child for the requested school year, UHM will rollover your child's application at no additional cost to the following school year at your personal request. If we do not receive your request or if you request not to have your child's application rollover to the following school year, we will remove your child's application from our waitlist.
